About this pièce
This piece was inspired by a marker in the ground in the Jardin du Luxembourg, memorializing the execution of 7 members of the French Resistance by the Germans just 6 days before they left Paris.

There are 7 figures, each with its own calligraphic marking representing their stories and relations that we no longer have access to, and while their bodies have disappeared, the brightness of their lives remains, vibrant and very much alive.
